What is G8 ? Which country is in G8 ?
The G8’s membership comprises the main industrialised countries. It is not an international organisation, nor does it have an administrative staff with a permanent secretariat; it is rather a process that culminates in an annual Summit at which the Heads of State and Government of the member countries hold talks with a view to finding solutions to the main world issues, which are summed up in the “Final Statement.”
The G8’s members are Canada,France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and the United States. The European Commission attends as well.
The 2009 G8 Summit was held in Italy, in the city of L’Aquila. From 8 to 10 July.

WWF website had a campaign about facing the G8. Create a poster and make your stand. Wanted to post this earlier but as usual my internet line was down. Even through the summit has concluded, you can still go to here. Make a decision of what you believe to be good for earth for yourself, your children, your children’s children. Make a stand now. What we do today will determine our tomorrow.

This world has never been fair. Oppression and discrimination. Money talk!!!!! Most cannot see beyond the $$$ sign. They are selling out earth and all we can do is watch earth losing it glitter. All the talk in the world don’t mean a thing if no one move forward to take action. Remember – Action speaks louder than words. Sad but lets hope and pray for a better earth for our children.
While writing this piece I remember the song by Michael Jackson titled “Heal the World”. I pray that we still have time to heal our world. Global warming is a real thing and not make believe as some might want us to believe. Observe the change in our weather daily. It is not a joke. Come together as ONE and try to HEAL our world/Earth.
